Moving forward with the idea presented in an earlier post about boredom and how daydreaming puts the brain into a seeking mode, and when seeking the brain is engaged and working on solutions, this is the next idea! An Avon Books romance called A Spiced Apple Winter is going to be put with another apple gourd with a winter theme.

Cutting the book in half and gluing all the edges together to make two book blocks will be the start. Combined with a red headband they can be the earmuffs for an apple gourd face. Whether or not other winter props will make the finished product better is debatable. Would a scarf be helpful? A face with sunglasses? A knitted hat? Could the text of another copy of the book be twisted into a version of yarn and knitted? These questions may be answered as the project keeps moving!
