10-based Days in a Life

Book of Days, Day in a Life. Reviewing the 10-based system of identifying books in a library made me think about days in a life and how one leads to another, but like how 10 categories each lead to 10 more which each lead to 10 more into infinity. The number of books can be infinite in theory, and although days in one person's life are not infinite, the number of days in the lives of humanity is.

A Book of Days could be about 10 categories, that then each branch into 10 additional categories, and on and on. It would be like a book with a flexible spine that allows more and more categories of days to be added as needed. So, thinking in that vein, what would a book of that nature look like? Could it materially be manufactured or would it need to be a digital book online where, in theory, the internet space is infinite?
