Is it possible to find wooden spoons with flat handles? If spoons were used to make a Book of Book Days, documenting the daily research lessons, wooden spoons would be handy since they can be decoupaged or wood-burned or painted much like wood can be handled.
These spoons from
WeddingBee have holes for linking and could be stacked, but the stack of day-to-day lessons would be too thick to be manageable.
A thinner wood for such a project could be ice cream scoop/paddles. They would need the handle holes, but the writing surface is long and flat.
Further searches result in a WIDE variety of wooden spoons that actually look like spoons and in some cases approach a paddle appearance which would allow for more text to be on the 'pages' of the book of days and leave the handle free for decoration. Book of Spoonfeeding Days.
