Repetitious Actions Lead to New Ideas

Working on the second half of the apple gourd and applying layers and layers of paper strips, one on top of another, becomes monotonous and hypnotic and ultimately repetitious. What happens is, after a while, the mind wanders and starts to daydream about other ideas. As stated in a Wired article, "What if boredom is a meaningful experience—one that propels us to states of deeper thoughtfulness or creativity?" In answering its own question, it turns out being bored out of your mind has merits. The state of boredom becomes a state of seeking which is engaging and ultimately productive.

Luckily, layers and layers and layers and layers have provided ample opportunity to be productive on some deep level. Already, there are 3 other book/gourd ideas brewing based on books titled "Eggs", "The Purple Unicorn" and "The Moonshiners' Handbook".

YeeHA!!
