From Spinner Gourds to Egg Yolks

To start the thinking, there is a basket of spinner gourds which could be purposed for the egg yolks by cutting off the bottoms.  Spinner gourds, when dehydrated, have a wood-like wall structure and a fibrous interior with seeds. A small hand saw made short work of 12 gourds, the number needed to make one team of the checker game.  With the yolks figured out, what about the flat fried egg part of the egg?

The cut-off bottoms will be used as yolks.
