Several ideas to build upon began in different ways. ySome began with the book, some started with the gourd that resembled something that belonged with a particular book, and others were inspired by ideas in book art books. Looking at other artists' end projects offered lots of ideas and starting points for new projects. Like the book shown in an earlier post, these two books were passed around a group of gourd crafters and all of them suddenly became inspired with ideas of their own. It was like a couple matches ignited a pile of dry wood!
